Went on Sunday for breakfast burritos. Mobbed!! Had a bit of a wait, but the BB's were awesome, and the green chili is excellent! They had bottles of it behind the counter or fresh. Used to go here all the time when lived in FC.
Fort Collins institution. Damn good green chile, breakfast burritos, lunch and even dinner items. The folks there are always friendly and the prices are amazing. Go get some!
Only complaint is Every time I phone in an order and ask for medium salsa over my smothered burrito, I am given HOT. and being home I wont drive all the way back to have it replaced, I cannot enjoy or eat the food and have to give it to my husband because it is so hot! Other than that the food and prices are great!
We get breakfast burritos almost every Sunday morning here. According to my family, they have the best. Service isn't the greats but worth dealing with for the food. Drive through is a nightmare. The line is always out on the road.
Absolutely love this place! Most bang for your buck! The breakfast burritos are loaded with meat which is super rare. Meals come with two hash brown triangles and a soda for under 9. The green chili is effing delicious too! 10/10 stars for these folks here at Consuelo's Express!
We ordered drive thru while visiting friends in Fort Collins, both some breakfast handheld burritos and smothered burritos of the Supreme variety, and everything was extremely flavorful while being inexpensive. Our friends tell us it’s their favorite place in the area for burritos, particularly breakfast burritos. When we come back, it’ll be on our list to try again.
Incredible Breakfast Burritos! My favorite Burritos are the Bean & Chicharron and Steak. I always opt for the 'Hot' Green Chile. They claim to be the 'Hottest Green Chile in Town' and they may be right.. (as far as restaurants go). Love this place, and the Dinners are an exceptional deal. A Burrito of your choice, smothered, with a side of beans and rice. You are at ten dollars, unless you make it a supreme for like 1.50 more. Breakfast Burrito Combos come with a drink and TWO hash browns. Great tasting food all the way around, no matter what you get.
As far Colorado-style Mexican restaurants go in Fort Collins, this is the crown jewel of convenience and flavor. Also, go ahead and grab as much of the green chile sauce (mild and medium are my favorite) as you can and put it on everything and anything savory.
